European RNA Alliance launches as a new gateway to RNA technologies in Europe

The European RNA Alliance (ERA) has officially launched, bringing together seven independent European RNA companies to strengthen RNA research and innovation across Europe.

RNA technologies are becoming increasingly important in diagnostics, disease monitoring, therapeutics and personalised medicine. Europe has strong expertise across the RNA field, but this expertise is often spread across specialised companies. ERA creates a shared gateway to make it easier for researchers, biotech and pharma companies to find the right technologies and scientific expertise.

The alliance brings together complementary capabilities across RNA tools and services, bioinformatics, enabling technologies, translational research, manufacturing and molecular diagnostics. It also supports Made-in-Europe innovation by helping European RNA companies increase visibility and build new collaborations.

The seven companies behind ERA are Anemocyte, Genevia Technologies, Immagina Biotechnology, Lexogen, MultiplexDX, siTOOLS Biotech and TAmiRNA. Each company remains independent while contributing its own technologies, expertise and scientific support to the wider alliance.

Through ERA, Immagina Biotechnology brings its expertise in translatomics and RNA translation to a wider European network working across the RNA value chain.

ERA aims to strengthen connections between academia, clinicians and industry while supporting knowledge sharing, business development and the next generation of RNA innovation in Europe.
