Service overview

Developed by Bioinformatician experts at Immagina, Martian was developed from scratch to analyze Ribo-seq, tRNA-seq and other RNA-seq data. Taking it one step further than other commonly used pipelines, our service allows you to go from data to report in a matter of weeks, without any bioinformatics expertise needed from your side. Our service includes:

  1. Data generation: Run your experiments or have them run by our experts at Immagina, and generate your data.
  2. Project manager assigned: Once we receive your request, one of our professionals will manage your project and ensure the timeline and quality standards are met.
  3. Data processing + reports generated: You’ll receive interactive HTML reports, the raw data and more – everything totally available for downstream use
  4. Results interpretation: Consultation session included to help you navigate your comprehensive reports. Additional scientific support always available on demand.

Our different data analysis services


Ribosome profiling (Ribo-seq)
Analysis of translation events (active translation, ribosome stalling, ribosome collision) with single-nucleotide resolution. ncORF detection, microprotein and neo-antigen discovery. Compatible with RiboWich - our high-throughput technology that allows Ribo-seq up to 96 well plates.
Translation efficiency (TE)
Paired Ribo-Seq + RNA-Seq for gene translational efficiency. Differential TE analysis across different conditions, with PCA and volcano plots generated.
tRNA sequencing
Full-length native tRNA sequencing (nano-tRNAseq) with modification mapping and abundance quantification. Ribo-embedded tRNA sequencing also available for active translational context.
DartRNAseq (DOORs / P-ROC)
Targeted RNA sequencing for 3’P RNA fragments. DartRNAseq is used in combination with an AI-driven software (P-ROC), and targeted qPCR assays, all part of our translatome biomarker discovery platform, DOORs. Validated in cell lines (Human, mouse and monkey), Human tissues and biopsies (plasma).
Proteomics
Proteome analysis by LC-MS. Possibility of combination with transcriptome and/or translatome analysis. Generated outputs: PCA, volcano plots, gene ontology term enrichment
RNA sequencing (RNA-seq)
Standard transcriptome profiling plus a custom pipeline to identify long non-coding RNA. Available for any species with annotated genome.
