Launched in January 2023, the Enhanced Ribosome Innovations (eRIs) initiative is a public-private collaboration between the Institute of Biophysics at the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) and Immagina Biotechnology s.r.l. eRIs represents a unique alliance dedicated to experimenting with advanced technologies to develop the next generation of solutions to reveal translational landscapes at ultra-high resolution.
In parallel, eRIs leverages these technologies to discover and develop RNA- and translation-based biomarkers for devastating diseases. The ultimate mission of eRIs is to fill gaps in medical care and counseling practices for clinicans and patients with unmet clinical treatment needs.
RiboMe - analysis of the RNA 2'-O-methylome
At Immagina Biotech, we believe that truly innovative tools have the power to reshape the boundaries of RNA discovery. While many commercial kits follow established paths, our goal is to pave new ones. From ribosome profiling to epitranscriptomics, we design and develop pioneering products like RiboMe—the first commercial kit for standardized analysis of the RNA 2’-O-methylome.
