Mattia graduated cum laude in Finance (MSc) at the University of Trento in 2008. From 2008 to 2012 Mattia held various positions in Milan as a consultant in some well known management consulting firms - KPMG and Ernst & Young, where he specialized in risk management, managing projects for large banks. In 2012 Mattia moved to London to work in the field of banking regulation for an international bank - RBS, and for a consultancy firm - Avantage Reply. Between April 2014 and August 2014 Mattia worked as a external advisor in the field of processes reengineering and improvement (i.e. conception and implementation of a Excel/VBA based platforms for a non-profit organization) and business plan development for a 'Food and Beverage' and a 'Biotech' start-up company. In September 2014 Mattia started a Master in Supply Chain and Logistics Management at the prestigious Univesity of Warwick (UK), to acquire technical skills in order to work in the supply chain of the manufacturing sector. He is due to graduate with distinction in September 2015 and start to work as supply chain analysis for a multinational pharmaceutical-led manufacturer and retailer.
Laura graduated in Physics at the University of Trento in 2000. Since then she dedicated her research activity to the development of new nanotechnology-based methods, tools and materials for biomedical applications. Expert in surface science with as a solid background in biophysics, especially skilled in fluorescence techniques and in spectroscopical methods especially suited for biological materials and in the synthesis of nanomaterial via wet-chemistry.
